▪️Why Seek Knowledge?

Sheikh Saleh Al-Sheikh حفظه الله said:

“The goal of seeking knowledge isn’t for every student to become a scholar.

The true purpose is:
• To remove ignorance from yourself.
• To worship Allah عز وجل with correct, sound worship.
• To purify your ‘aqeedah (belief), so you meet Allah with a sound heart.”

Allah تعالى says:
“The Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit, except one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.”
[Surah Ash-Shu‘ara: 88-89]

A sound heart is free from doubts and from indulging in sinful desires.
This is one of the great fruits of knowledge — that you lift ignorance from your own soul.

Al-Wasaya al-‘Ashr lil-Istifadah min ad-Durus al-‘Ilmiyyah
